A visit by Raymond of Ringtons is always very popular, and this week was no exception. As usual, Raymond brought a good selection of Ringtons’ delicious goodies and sales were brisk!
Ringtons history goes back to 1907 when the founder, Samuel Smith OBE, began selling tea from a horse and cart in Newcastle upon Tyne. Fast forward to today and they remain a family business in the fifth generation, with tea at the heart – but with a great many other treats as well! Their vans are a familiar sight in neighbourhoods across the nation, not least in Ibstock!
