Feet were tapping tapping and arms were waving when Janet presented her Music Quiz! 

Janet played snatches of music from each decade from the 1930s to the 1990s, and we were challenged to name that tune, name the singer or singers – everyone from Vera Lynn to Wham! and all styles inbetween – or to name the composer of the song, or even which famous TV family the singer belonged to! The total possible score was 36. The winner scored 34! My partner for the day and I obviously needed to get out more because we only scored eight! 

But it was great fun, and great entertainment, so we’ve asked Janet to come back again later in the year when she promises a Music Quiz with pictures on television soap operas and series. Now there’s one not to be missed!

After our usual tea and coffee break – with biscuits, of course! – I presented the new website which seemed to go down well.
